Red Line
Exit at the Kendall Square/MIT stop and go upstairs to Main Street.

Walk east on Main toward Boston and the park (with a gold globe fountain). You will see a stoplight and an intersection to your left.

Walk away from the square and go through the park toward the intersection. Cross over Broadway onto Third Street (The Marriott Hotel should now be at your back).

Walk down Third Street, crossing several streets. Turn right onto Charles Street and go to the second building on the right, which is 58 Charles Street (the corner of Charles Street and 2nd Street).

Green Line
Exit at the Lechmere stop and turn left out of the train.

Walk along the sidewalk and take your first left, which is 2nd Street. Continue crossing several streets until you come to 58 Charles Street (the corner of Charles Street and 2nd Street).

Driving Directions

From the Mass Pike (I-90) East/West:

  • Take the Cambridge/Allston Exit
  • After the toll, bear right following signs to Cambridge
  • Go straight over the Charles River and take first right onto Memorial Drive
  • Follow Memorial Drive for approximately 2.5 miles (past MIT on the left)
  • Follow signs to Kendall Square and stay on Memorial Drive as it curves the river and continues under Longfellow Bridge
  • At the first stoplight following Longfellow Bridge, take a left
  • At the first stoplight go right onto Third Street
  • Turn right onto Charles Street
  • SWH is in the first building on the right at 58 Charles Street.

From I-93 North:

  • Take Exit 30, Mystic Ave./Rte.-28/Rte.-38, toward Somerville
  • Turn left on Mystic Ave.
  • Bear right on Rte.-28 South
  • Go 1.8 miles and take a right onto Third Street
  • Go approx. ½ mile and take a left onto Charles Street
  • SWH is in the first building on the right at 58 Charles Street.

From I-93 South:

  • Take Exit 26 for Storrow Drive
  • Follow signs to Cambridge/Somerville
  • Stay right on the off ramp to get onto Storrow Drive
  • Immediately after merging onto Storrow Drive, move into the left lane and take the first left-hand exit
  • At the light, go right over the Longfellow Bridge
  • At the first stoplight following the bridge, go right onto Third Street
  • Go through the Binney Street intersection (first stoplight), and take the second right onto Charles Street
  • SWH is in the first building on the right at 58 Charles Street.
